A free event for curious minds

When: The Researchers’ Night is taking place on MONDAY February 10, 2020 from 6 to 10 pm, at the McMaster Innovation Park, 175 Longwood road South, Hamilton, Ontario. 

 

What: a rare and free encounter between the general public and McMaster University‘s researchers. 

 

Theme: this year's theme is about food, and will feature a multidisciplinary discussion with a panel of experts around this topic.

 

Format: Within the heart of McMaster Innovation Park, the public will explore the question of 'what feeds us' through presentations and discussion with a panel of experts. 
Researchers from McMaster University, as well as from France, and Montréal will discuss their projects with the public, and give their perspective on a common theme. 

French: This exciting event is in its sixth year of partnership with the cultural and scientific services of the French Embassy and Consulate. It facilitates and encourages of all kinds between Canadian and French researchers and artists. Some of our presenters are 'bilingues' so feel free to jump in and "pratiquez votre français" to ask a few questions or discuss for hours!
